Contest Rules

Eligibility

The contest is open to ALL full-time UNM and CNM students, individually or in teams. Students must be registered for the Academic Year (Fall 2015 - Spring 2016). Students who are graduating the Fall 2015 semester are still eligible to register as well.

Application Focus Area

Mobile applications developed in this contest should be focused to benefit technology, science, health, or education. Build your app with responsive HTML 5 design or in a native application mobile operating system. After you've registered, we will contact you to specify the platform for the mobile application you are developing. Mobile apps can be coded anywhere; from your own home, UNM's campus, Quelab, and the STEMulus Center (CNM).

Extra points will be given to those who use data from UNM's Open Data Repository or City of Albuquerque's Open Data Repository.

Mentors

We require that you have a mentor. You may contact one of the individuals below or attend the first meetup scheduled on October 12, 2015 in the LoboLab Training Center, UNM Student Union Building. If you do not choose a mentor, one will be assigned to you by November 10, 2015.
